Ann Fisher's Bio
As Managing Director of Integral Coaching International, Ann Fisher coaches global executives on leadership and transition issues. Ann has worked with clients from PepsiCo, Wrigley, Ford, Disney, PNC Bank, UBS, Hewlett Packard, Yahoo!, Leo Burnett, Estee Lauder, Avon, and AT&T Broadband.
Her clients are senior executives called to lead in their organizations, who want to draw upon their greatest, most authentic abilities to significantly impact their companies and their communities. Ann thrives on working with clients who are creating change, driving innovation, and navigating transitions. She particularly enjoys working with senior women looking to craft their unique style of leadership.
As a coach, Ann serves her clients in multiple roles: as a partner, standing shoulder to shoulder as they break new ground; as a sounding board, supporting them as an objective listener; as a scout, who sees the larger context, their possibilities and potential; and, as a catalyst, helping to spark their commitment and action.
After twenty-four years of corporate business experience, twelve of which were in international and senior managerial roles, Ann chose to become a coach to truly effect change one-on-one with leaders. While Ann’s direct experience is in advertising and in publishing, her work exposed her to a wide variety of business climates.
In her last executive position as General Manager, Pacific for Newsweek International, based in Hong Kong, Ann managed multi-culturally and virtually throughout the Asia region. Prior to that she held management positions in advertising and publishing in Asia and the U.S. with Backer Spielvogel Bates, J. Walter Thompson, and Time Inc.
Like her clients, Ann has been on the front lines, and she brings knowledge and direct experience to her coaching. Her intuitive, warm style, her energy and her orientation to action, once critical to her leadership, are key assets in her coaching process.
After attending Vassar College, Ann graduated from Williams College, in the second class to admit women. Her coach training is from Coach University. She is a Certified Somatic Coach. Ann is also a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst for the DISC assessment, is certified in the Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessment, the Realise2 Strengths Assessment, and is also certified in Decision Dynamics Inc.’s Decision Styles/Career Styles instruments. Ann is trained in delivering feedback on Hogan & Lominger assessments as well. She is a member of the International Coach Federation and has served on the nominating committee of the Chicago Coach Federation. She was included in an article on coaching in Time Magazine.
Ann has served on a variety of boards, most recently Baytree National Bank & Trust (Illinois), and also as a trustee of Lake Forest Country Day School and Hong Kong International School.
Ann is currently living in northern Michigan but spends time monthly in Chicago. She and her husband enjoy golf and bicycling, as well as spending time in San Francisco with their daughter.
